Canucks vs Jackets

Getting outshot 26-6 after two periods, the Canucks came out a different team in the third. For the first time in recent memory, Markus Naslund was consistently dangerous in the offensive zone. He scored the Canucks' key third goal to put the game away 8:51 into the final frame. He said he thought about passing, but chose to wait a long time, until the Blue Jackets' defence collapsed, before shooting. How sad and of course Nicky looked like a over paid rookie.

Where's Shelly , Hitchcock WAKE UP

The soft style of play was really visible in the game against Colorado.Hitchcock's style with out bangers like Shelly was so apparent in the last 2 losses it was easy to see. Both teams in the 3rd sent a message to "go home to mama" ,Hitchcock better wake up and put Shelly back in the line up.This soft style will not make it in the NHL. Hitchcock is way over rated he does not have the type of players for his kind of system.

One of the most engaging Blue Jackets players off the ice, Tollefsen belies his nation's passive reputation when the puck goes into the corners. He is 211 pounds of ornery in a sandpaper coating.
Tollefsen finished third on the team in penalty minutes last season, his first in the NHL, and rated among the Blue Jackets' most punishing hitters.
