Rookie Steve Mason

Rookie Steve Mason needed to save just 15 shots for his first career shutout as the Columbus Blue Jackets defeated the Atlanta Thrashers, 2-0, at Philips Arena. Rick Nash had a goal and an assist, while R.J. Umberger scored the other goal for the Blue Jackets, who had lost three of four coming into the game. Ondrej Pavelec stopped 28-of-29 shots in the loss for the Thrashers, who have dropped three straight after a season- high five-game winning streak.
Go Jackets they are looking better nice fight also.
