He will back up Allen York tonight against the Detroit Red Wings in a nationally televised game in Nationwide Arena. Hunwick is the younger brother of Colorado Avalanche defenseman Matt Hunwick

Mason Goaltending

Steve Mason will start against Carolina. Richards did not rule out Mason starting all nine remaining games.Right wings Rick Nash and Cam Atkinson switched lines in the third period of Tuesday’s loss against Chicago. “We’ll keep it that way again,” Richards said. “I thought in the third period we had some improvement from both lines. We’ll see how that goes.
Went to the game tonight best game I have seen Mason play ,he was great.

Ken Hitchcock

“It’s the first step,” St. Louis coach Ken Hitchcock said. “We’re proud of that. We’re really happy with it, and we continue down that path.”
Wow the Jacket players did not like Hitch so Howson fires him. When he took over the Blue's team they aere 1 point ahead of the Jackets. Another great move by Howson amazing he has not been fired.
