Matt Calvert

Calvert left the ice and headed to the trainers’ room, where he received 36 stitches to close his wound. Now, did he return to play in the third period?Of course. He’s a hockey player, and this is just what they do. He then scored the winning goal, wow.

10 zip holy moley

The Montreal Canadiens were the last remaining unbeaten team in the NHL, but in Friday's historic rout to the Columbus Blue Jackets, the Habs looked nothing like the top team in the Eastern Conference.  The Canadiens matched their worst shutout loss in team history, losing 10-0 to the Blue Jackets in Columbus. It was the fourth 10-0 loss in franchise history.
Al Montoya made the start between the pipes in Carey Price's spot, but his supporting cast did little to help slow the carnage. Montreal gave up eight goals in the first two periods, four on power plays.
